Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

Cherokee Auto Glass (“we,” “us”) provides mobile auto glass repair and replacement in Northern Georgia. This policy explains what information we collect on cherokeeautoglass.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, book service, create an account or contact us, we collect:

  • your name, phone number and email address;
  • your vehicle details (year, make, model, and VIN if you provide it) and the service you need;
  • your insurance company, if you tell us, so we can help with a claim;
  • the service address and any notes about parking, gates or access;
  • your messages to us, including emails, texts and call notes; and
  • if you create an account, a password (we store only a scrambled version, never the password itself).

Information collected automatically. We keep a simple record of website visits to learn which pages and ads bring in customers. It includes the pages you view, the website or ad campaign that sent you, the type of device and browser, and a random visitor ID stored in a cookie. We do not store your IP address in this record.

How we use your information

  • to prepare quotes, schedule appointments and perform and follow up on your service;
  • to help with your insurance claim when you ask us to;
  • to reply to your calls, texts and emails and to send quotes, appointment details and account emails such as password resets;
  • to keep records, prevent fraud and block spam and automated abuse; and
  • to understand how people find our website so we can improve it and our advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Essential: a security cookie that protects forms, and a sign-in cookie if you have an account.
  • Visit measurement: two first-party cookies (cag_vid and cag_sid) that tell us whether visits are from the same browser. These carry a random ID, not your name or contact details.

We may also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand website traffic and how pages are used. These services may set their own cookies and receive information such as your device, browser and pages visited, under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracking-protection extension; the website will still work, but some measurements will not be recorded.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in with third parties for their marketing. We share information only as needed to run the business:

  • Service providers that host this website, send our email, and provide analytics and error monitoring. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Insurance companies and glass suppliers, when needed to process your claim or order your parts and you have asked us to proceed.
  • Authorities, if we are required to by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Reviews we show from Google are displayed from Google’s public business listing. If you click through to Google to leave a review, Google’s privacy policy applies.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests, service records and related messages for as long as we need them to serve you, handle warranty questions (we offer a lifetime workmanship warranty), and meet tax and legal requirements. Website visit records are kept for our marketing reports. You can ask us to delete your information (see “Your choices”), and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legal or warranty reason.

Photos of our work

We may take before-and-after photos of vehicles for our records. A job’s photos appear on our public “Our Work” page only if we choose to feature that job. If you would prefer your vehicle not be pictured, tell us and we will leave it out.

Security

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in scrambled form, access to customer records is limited to our staff and requires sign-in, and our forms include protection against automated abuse. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To stop text messages, reply STOP; to stop emails, tell us or use the unsubscribe option where one is provided. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests.

Children

Our website is intended for adults who own or manage vehicles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites, such as Google. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
